Description
As a Quant Analytics Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Data and Analytics team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm s business objectives. Job Responsibilities Leverage a wide range of analytical tools and techniques to solve business problems with the objective to optimize banker performance and behavior. Use advanced quantitative techniques on large datasets to identify trends and patterns and derive actionable insights. Monitor and analyze data to identify anomalies, trends, and patterns and come up with strategic recommendations. Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, findings, etc.). Develop visualizations and presentations to summarize and communicate key findings to stakeholders. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Bachelor s or Master s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as business, finance, economics, engineering, statistics, information systems, or mathematics. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience and expertise in SQL, Python/R, and Alteryx. Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, clustering analysis, inferential statistics, data mining, and experimental design techniques. Experience in wrangling large, complex datasets, with strong database skills and the ability to write, optimize, and tune complex SQL scripts. Experience delivering analytics solutions under strict timelines. Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to think both independently and collaboratively to implement creative solutions that solve business problems, with attention to detail. Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical details, observations, and inferences into business language.
