Quality & Technical Manager

You will be responsible for overseeing quality and technical aspects in the apparel industry. Your role will include: - Quality Management: - Developing and implementing quality systems to ensure compliance with international/local standards and customer specifications - Conducting audits, analyzing root causes, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining quality documentation - Training and managing QC staff for effective quality control - Technical Management: - Providing technical guidance in pattern making, sample development, fabric testing, and garment construction - Collaborating with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure quality and cost-efficiency - Troubleshooting manufacturing issues and driving process improvements - Customer & Vendor Coordination: - Acting as the key liaison for customers (including Walmart) to ensure quality compliance - Addressing customer complaints, coordinating with vendors to secure high-quality raw materials, and maintaining strong partnerships - Compliance & Reporting: - Ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards - Preparing quality reports, overseeing internal and third-party audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives Key Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's in Textile/Fashion Technology or related field - 10+ years of experience in quality/technical management within apparel manufacturing - Experience with Walmart audits and compliance is a strong advantage - Expertise in international quality standards (ISO, AQL) and garment production - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Proficiency in quality management software/tools You will need to possess personal attributes such as strong leadership, team management, being detail-oriented, proactive, innovative, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a customer-focused approach ensuring quality and service excellence.
