Job Description

Key responsibilities :

Inspect and test products:
Perform inspections on incoming parts, in-process components, and final products to check for defects or deviations from specifications.
Use measurement and testing equipment:
Utilize various tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to measure dimensions and ensure products meet quality standards.
Interpret documentation:
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control plans to understand quality expectations.
Document findings:
Accurately record inspection results, including data on defective products, and prepare reports for management.
Identify and segregate defects:
Tag and set aside any suspect or defective products and document their location for disposition.
Monitor production:
Observe the production process to ensure it meets quality standards and recommend adjustments as needed.
Communicate with teams:
Work with and provide feedback to production line operators, engineers, and management on quality standards and issues.
Maintain equipment:
Assist with the calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
Ensure safety compliance:
Adhere to and help enforce safety regulations and procedures in the work area.
Must have minimum 1 year experience in quality.
