Role Purpose

1. The Quality Incharge is responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and materials in the manufacturing line meet customer requirements, industry standards (IPC, ISO, IATF), and company quality objectives.

2. This role involves managing in-line and final quality inspections, handling customer complaints, driving root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

3. The Quality Incharge acts as a link between production, process, and customer quality, ensuring continuous improvement in yield, defect reduction, and overall product reliability.

Qualifications

Experience

Skills:

1. Strong understanding of SMT, THT, and Box Build assembly processes.

2. In-depth knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards.

3. Experience in inspection methods, quality tools, and test equipment.

4. Hands-on experience with AOI, SPI, ICT, FCT, and visual inspection techniques.

5. Proficiency in 8D, RCA, CAPA, SPC, FMEA, and MSA tools.

6. Knowledge of component quality control, soldering defects, and rework standards.

7. Strong data analysis ability using Pareto charts, fishbone diagrams, and trend charts.

8. Capable of identifying root causes and driving preventive measures.

9. Skilled in process monitoring, yield improvement, and quality audits.

10. Ability to lead and manage a quality team across multiple lines and shifts.

11. Coordination with production, NPI, and process engineering teams for improvements.

12. Competent in handling customer audits, reporting, and escalations.

13. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

14. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

15. Leadership and mentoring abilities.

16. Proactive, disciplined, and quality-focused mindset.

17. Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
