Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Systems and Compliance:

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and API standards.
• Serve as the Management Representative (MR) for quality certifications and audits.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance and successful certifications.

2. Process and Product Quality Assurance:

• Oversee Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), in-process inspections, and Pre-Dispatch

Inspections (PDI).

• Deploy advanced quality tools, including SPC, 7 QC tools, and 8D problem-solving, to enhance

reliability and reduce defects.

3. Industry-Specific Quality Leadership:

• Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for OEMs
• Collaborate with Defence and O&G customers to meet stringent quality standards and

compliance requirements.

4. Metallurgical and Process Optimization:

• Leverage expertise in metallurgical processes, heat treatment, and material science to ensure

product quality.

• Enhance forging and machining processes to meet precision and durability standards.

5. Customer and Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary quality liaison for domestic and international OEMs, ensuring customer

satisfaction through prompt resolution of quality concerns.

• Build and sustain long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in diverse industries.

6. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Lead Six Sigma and Lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement across product and

process quality.

• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve measurable quality

improvements.

7. Leadership and Team Development:

• Build and lead a high-performing quality assurance team capable of managing multi-industry

requirements.

• Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and

continuous learning.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred).

Experience:

• 1520 years of progressive experience in quality management across Automotive, Off-Highway Equipment, Defence, Railways, and O&G sectors.
• Proven expertise in managing certifications such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and API.
• Hands-on experience with global quality frameworks and customer compliance requirements.

Skills and Competencies:

• Expertise in APQP, PPAP, SPC, and ISO/IATF standards.
• Strong leadership and client relationship management skills.
• Strong knowledge of forging and machining processes, including metallurgical standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced quality management tools.
