Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer / Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in testing web applications, APIs, and complex backend data. The successful candidate will operate within a small, agile feature team responsible for delivering high-quality, automated solutions to enhance our digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Operate as a core member of an Agile/Scrum feature team (typically 5-7 members: developers, testers, BAs).
Plan and undertake end-to-end test activities, including test script development, execution, and defects management.Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to assess test scenarios and define requirements based on risk-based testing methodologies.Design and develop comprehensive Test Strategies, Test Plans, and test artifacts (conditions, scripts, data) for Product, Integration, Technical, and Deployment Testing.Design and execute detailed functional test cases for complex business requirements, focusing on high-visibility digital products.Identify and implement process improvements and optimization opportunities to enhance the level of delivery and quality engineering.Proactively manage risks, ensuring quality deliverables adhere to timelines and internal framework standards.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in Quality Assurance (QA).
Frameworks: Minimum of 4+ years experience in a Selenium BDD framework.Automation:

Proficiency in Python for test automation development.
Expertise in Selenium for web application automation.Direct experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and tools such as Specflow or Python Behave.Testing Types: QA Automation of Web Applications, Web Services, and REST APIs.Data Testing: Proficiency with Complex SQL for data validation and backend testing.Methodology: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hands-on experience with both automated and manual testing execution.
