Quality Engineering

As a Lead Software Engineer within the Quality Engineering Chapter at Fidelity, your role involves collaborating with other Quality Engineers, Software Developers, Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure software applications are built with quality and adhere to engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business and systems requirements into test strategy, test scenarios, and test plans. - Design, develop, document, and maintain optimized automated test scripts. - Provide rotational QE on-call support in Prod and Preprod infrastructure. - Adhere to Engineering Practices in the development of automation framework. - Apply BDD design concepts to test software solutions. - Deliver accurate and maintainable code for automation and software utilities. - Measure and report key QE metrics. - Conduct accessibility testing on web and mobile pages/apps. - Contribute towards Quality Engineering chapter initiatives by suggesting improvements for processes, best practices, and standards. - Collaborate with technical resources to improve the maintainability of the automation platform. Qualifications Required: - 2-4 years of experience in software test/Quality Engineering. - Deep expertise in different types of testing. - Hands-on Software Development in Test experience, including programming languages like JavaScript/Typescript/Java and automation scripting. - Good understanding of BDD, CI-CD, and DevOps concepts. - Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, Playwright, and validation of RESTful web services. - Experience in cloud testing, Graph QL, Client-Server Architecture, Cloud certification (AWS/Azure), and Service Virtualization (Wire-Mock) is a strong plus. - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.,
