Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Project Role Description :

Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

15 years full time educationSummary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a dedicated team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality applications. You will leverage your expertise to develop comprehensive testing strategies, applying quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall application lifecycle. Your role will be pivotal in driving quality initiatives and ensuring that testing processes are effectively managed and assessed, ultimately contributing to the success of the projects you oversee. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and report on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA. - Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices. - Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required., 15 years full time education
