• A Bachelors degree or an equivalent qualification, with 5–7 years of industry experience.
• Proven experience in leading efforts to define test strategies, planning, and conducting reviews. • Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across frontend and backend components.
• Proficiency in UI and API test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium and REST Assured.
• Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch) and cloudbased testing environments.
• Ability to review and contribute to the development of automation scripts and frameworks.
• Experience in performance engineering and using performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices, test management tools, and test design techniques.
• Solid understanding of Java, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and coding standards.
• Experience with continuous integration, build, and source control tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Familiarity with defect management and the defect lifecycle.
• Experience in testing middle-tier and service-oriented architectures using automation frameworks such as REST Assured.
• Practical understanding of Agile software testing and software engineering concepts.
• Ability to oversee and manage test execution and communicate test statuses to stakeholders.
• Experience in mentoring, training, and leading a team of Quality Engineers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB are an added advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and DevOps to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
