As a Quality Assurance Engineer in the engineering industry based in Pune City, Maharashtra, India, you will be responsible for reviewing dimensional & metallurgical inspection reports of various diesel engine parts. Your role will involve preparing summaries of inspection reports, evaluating deviation findings, and collaborating with plant QA, suppliers, and component responsible individuals. You will also conduct joint inspection activities at suppliers' facilities and engine assembly lines, prepare inspection reports, release initial sample inspection reports, and create internal process documents for new processes as per requirements. Working in agile teams and fostering good collaboration will be key aspects of your role. - Review dimensional & metallurgical inspection reports for various diesel engine parts - Prepare summary of inspection reports with evaluation of deviation findings - Review inspection report summary with plant QA, supplier & component responsible - Visit suppliers and engine assembly line for joint inspection activities - Prepare inspection reports and release initial sample inspection reports - Create internal process documents for new processes based on requirements - Work in agile teams with a focus on collaboration - BE / BTech in mechanical engineering - 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role - Knowledge of diesel engine parts and their functions - Understanding of diesel engine materials engineering and metallurgical analysis - Expertise in metrology, inspection methodologies, and tools used for inspecting engine components As a Quality Assurance Engineer in the engineering industry based in Pune City, Maharashtra, India, you will be responsible for reviewing dimensional & metallurgical inspection reports of various diesel engine parts.
