Quality Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Plan, organize, and inspect items/material received from the suppliers and in-house fabrication & machining.
Carry out in-process inspection as required. Record the result of inspection in report format. Record NCRs, if there are any deviations or violations against the job requirement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow the daily inspection activity Plan as per the requirement.
Verify the receipt of the good (GRN) and perform inward inspection prior to issuing material to productionSelect the required inspection tools and maintain the calibration validity dateInspect and verify the JOB as per drawing requirement and as per the procedureRecord the inspection results in their respective formatUpdate the status of inspection on ERP.Record NCRs, if there is any deviation or violation against the job requirement.Suggest the improvements through CAR / PARTake an active part in audits.Knowledge of ASME, NDE, and Welding preferred.Knowledge of sheet metal welding and food-grade stainless steel welding preferredHaving experience in stainless steel tank fabrication and piping is preferred.CWI-AWS or CSWIP-3.1 Certified Welding Engineer.Welders qualification and certification as per ASME SEC IX standards.Welding Process Knowledge like GMAW, SMAW, MMAW, SAW, GTAW, FCAW, STUD WELDING, etc.Welding consumable selection as per the parent material.Knowledge about Welding defects.Job Preparation of Before Welding, During Welding, and After welding.Material Knowledge like CS & SSPreparation of WPS, WPQR, and record of Weld Test.Preparation of Weld Map/Welding Sequence plan as per customer requirement drawing.Welding Inspection and Testing Plan - ITP as per customer requirement.Must be able to communicate in English and Hindi

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

DME with 8 years or Diploma/B.E with 5 years experience.
Work experience in quality inspection & metrologyMust be proficient with computer basicsStrong knowledge of all measuring instruments and GD&TMust be able to communicate in English.Knowledge of ASTM, NDE, and Welding preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
