Job Description

Position Summary : The Quality Process Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and improving production processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance. The role requires working closely with production teams to optimize the bimetal manufacturing process , identify root causes of issues, develop corrective/preventive actions, and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety norms . Key Responsibilities : Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Investigate quality issues and develop robust corrective and preventive action plans. Conduct trials and tests for improvement ideas and present results for implementation. Collaborate with senior management to finalize solutions and ensure timely execution. Maintain process documentation, including quality control procedures and test results. Act as a process expert in new product and new line development projects. Train and support production teams on quality systems and continuous improvement practices. Ensure strict compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Monitor and reduce rework and scrap rates . Improve raw material usage efficiency. Maintain strong coordination with production, maintenance, NPD, and tooling teams. Apply lean tools and structured methodologies (FMEA, 5M, etc.) to drive process excellence. Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills Sound understanding of mechanics, bonding, and basic electrical concepts. Exposure to metal joining technologies and processes like rolling, slitting, flattening, or annealing. Proficient in problem-solving tools: FMEA, 5-Whys, Lean Manufacturing . Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and data interpretation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Behavioral Skills Hands-on, workshop-oriented mindset with the ability to respond quickly. Team player with strong communication and interdepartmental coordination skills. Proactive, responsible, and resilient under pressure. Humble, disciplined, and capable of leading by influence. Open to learning and flexible in approach. Why Join Us?
