Quality Engineer

Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer with experience in the sheet metal industry to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of quality documentation such as PPAP, have hands-on experience with precision measurement instruments, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role will require a proactive approach to root cause analysis and maintaining high customer satisfaction through effective quality management. Key Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to quality standards and manage quality processes including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and other related documentation. Work in a sheet metal manufacturing environment, ensuring all quality control processes are followed. Use precision measurement instruments such as FARO, Trimos, Vernier calipers, and Micrometers to inspect and verify part dimensions and quality. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality issues that arise. Communicate effectively with customers to resolve quality concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Experience working in the sheet metal industry is required. - Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, especially PPAP and related industry documentation. - Proficient in using measurement instruments such as FARO, Trimos, Vernier calipers, and Micrometers. - Strong communication skills, particularly in customer interaction and resolving quality concerns. - Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
