Roles &Responsibilities:

Inspection & testing of raw materials bought out components, in-process & finished products inspections as per applicable IEC/IS Standards and monitoring of processes & products.
Identify & resolve supplier issues, monitor supplier quality activities with a view to eliminate the defects recorded, Conduct Root Cause Analysis and initiate Improvement activities
Implement effective Corrective Actions by conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for internal production line failures and Field failures using 5-Why to reduce COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality), carry out product & process audits.
Prepare & Implement Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Control Plans & Standard Operating Processes (SOP).
Effectively coordinate with cross functional team for New Product Development & Right First-Time delivery of Product.
Effectively monitored the performance of process, collect metrics & observes the trends of process compliances.
Investigated field failures related to supplier materials and develop corrective action plans where necessary.
8D, CAPA, RCA, 4QD, Trend Charts, Problem Solving, Brainstorming Meetings.
Carry out Process Improvement and Process standardization activities by use of LEAN and Six Sigma tools like 4M analysis, Poka-Yoke, Process Point analysis, 7QC tools.
Play a Key Role in planning, & coordination the production activities in shop floor to ensure the timely completion of project.
