Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Engineer – Civil in Construction. The role is based in Chennai but offers the option for partial remote work. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing quality assurance, quality control, and managing product quality to ensure adherence to construction standards. Key responsibilities include inspecting construction sites, implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Quality Engineering, including frameworks and processes to ensure construction quality
• Proficient knowledge in Quality Control and Quality Assurance practices for construction projects
• Hands-on experience with Product Quality and Quality Management systems
• Practical understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an ability to maintain quality at all stages of construction
• Educational qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and building codes
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Prior experience in residential or commercial construction projects is an advantage
