Role Overview:

Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor

  Quality Management Systems

  at site
• Establish QA/QC activities for:

• Ground improvement (Stone column, Vibro compaction)

• Deep foundations (Piling, Diaphragm walls, Anchoring, Grouting)

• Review project specifications and ensure site execution aligns with contract requirements
  
• Prepare and secure approvals for

  Method Statements

  and

  Field Quality Plans (FQP)

• Conduct inspections and testing for:
• Incoming materials: Aggregate, Cement, Concrete, Grout, Reinforcement steel
• Material source sampling and lab testing for client submission
• Load tests for piles and stone columns; concrete and field tests
• Monitor

  stabilization fluids

  (bentonite, polymer slurry) properties and lab testing
• Maintain calibrated measuring equipment and apparatus
• Prepare weekly

  quality reports and product installation records

• Manage and close

  NCRs and observations

  through corrective/preventive actions
• Handle customer complaints with immediate remedial action
• Ensure documentation aligns with

  ISO 9001:2015

  and project quality plans
• Conduct

  quality walks

  , meetings, and trainings for continual improvement
• Coordinate with Project & Quality Managers to resolve site-related quality issues

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of

  IS, BS, ASTM, ACI codes

  for ground improvement, concrete, and deep foundation works
• Hands-on exposure to:
• Load testing procedures
• Concrete testing
• Field quality inspections
• Bentonite/polymer slurry analysis
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Proficiency in handling calibration schedules and inspection/test plans
