Quality Controller (QC)

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures for all production stages, from raw material selection to final packaging.

· Conduct regular inspections and tests on components and finished jewelry, checking for defects in casting, stone setting, and polishing, finishing, and overall craftsmanship.

· Establish standards for raw materials and monitor supplier compliance to ensure consistent input quality.

· Supervise and train the quality control team to enforce best practices across inspection, defect documentation, and reporting.

· Identify root causes of recurring defects, analyze trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to production management.

· Ensure jewelry pieces comply with industry regulations, certification requirements, and customer specifications.

Common Inspection Points

· Visual checks for surface flaws, porosity, cracks, or misalignment.

· Verification of accurate diamond and gemstone settings for security and aesthetics.

· Measurement of product dimensions, weights, and component fittings to ensure alignment with design specifications.

· Examination of polishing, plating, and finishing quality for consistency and durability.

· Review of packaging and labeling to meet brand and regulatory requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of quality control experience in the jewelry industry, preferably with diamond and gold pieces.

· Strong knowledge of jewelry manufacturing techniques, industry standards, and relevant regulations.

· Attention to detail, analytical skills for defect root cause analysis, and familiarity with quality management systems and documentation.

Leadership abilities for managing and training quality staff, with excellent communication to report findings and drive improvements
