Quality Control Supervisor

As a Quality Control Supervisor at VES in Faridabad, India, your primary responsibility will be to supervise, plan, coordinate, mentor, and direct quality control inspectors in the Machine Shop. Your role will involve ensuring the continuous production of products that meet established standards by personally performing the following duties. You will be tasked with developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes and procedures for Final Inspection. Monitoring the verification of various instruments as per requirements, reporting and verifying non-conformances along with their root cause analysis, and overseeing NPD Parts & their standard requirements will be part of your regular responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the final inspection of all types of products according to work authorization, drawing, and client PO requirements. Your role will also include overseeing the product release procedure, conducting TPI inspection witness at different stages as per client-approved QAP & PO requirements, and planning TPI inspection witness at the threader location in line with outsource threading QAP. You will be accountable for ensuring timely testing at the Internal Lab, calibrating instruments, and coordinating with external agencies. Furthermore, you will conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Supervising and training quality control Engineers and Inspectors, providing ongoing coaching and support to enhance team performance, and ensuring adherence to quality protocols will also form a crucial part of your responsibilities. Continuously monitoring and analyzing production processes to identify areas for improvement and collaborating with production and engineering teams to implement process enhancements will be essential to enhancing product quality. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions, will be vital. You will also be required to prepare and present regular reports on quality performance metrics to senior management. To qualify for this role, you should possess a B.Tech / Diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector, is required. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, API & QMS standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions are essential.
