Quality Control Manager

As a Quality Control Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. Your responsibilities will include: - Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. - Approving in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating necessary adjustments to the production supervisor. - Approving all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests. - Returning products for re-work if necessary and ensuring proper documentation of re-work. - Documenting and updating inspection results by completing reports and logs. - Ensuring that measurement equipment is operating correctly by following operating instructions and arranging for repairs. - Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and legal regulations. - Coaching and mentoring junior employees to foster leadership development. - Staying updated on job knowledge through educational opportunities and technical publications. - Contributing to the organization's mission by fulfilling related results as needed. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.S. degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial position. - Work authorization security clearance. - Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Office. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain and teach methodologies. - Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.,
