Job Overview:

Quality Control Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Monitoring & Control:

• Implement QC standards across

  books, printed packaging, labels, and plastic toys

  .
• Conduct

  visual, dimensional, and functional inspections

  at all stages of production.
• Oversee

  print quality

  (colour matching, resolution, registration) and

  toy quality

  (mold accuracy, paint adhesion, safety).

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with

  BIS (ISI)

  ,

  EN71

  ,

  ASTM F963

  ,

  ISO 8124

  , and

  publishing standards

  .
• Coordinate third-party lab testing and certifications for toys and printed products.

Team & Process Management:

• Lead a team of QC inspectors and technicians.
• Train staff on

  SOPs

  ,

  safety protocols

  , and

  defect identification

  .
• Investigate and resolve non-conformities, initiate

  Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

  .

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain inspection logs, testing reports, rejection summaries, and audit records.
• Provide timely reports to the Quality Manager and participate in quality audits.

Supplier Quality Assurance:

• Inspect incoming raw materials (paper, ink, plastics, adhesives, etc.).
• Conduct quality audits at vendor locations as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc. in

  Printing Technology

  ,

  Mechanical Engineering

  ,

  Plastics Technology

  , or a related field.

Experience:

• 5–10 years in quality control within

  printing

  ,

  publishing

  , or

  toys manufacturing

  industries.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

  printing processes

  (offset, screen, digital) and

  toy production methods

  (injection molding, assembly, packaging).
• Familiar with national and international

  safety and quality standards

• Proficient in

  QC tools

  measurement instruments

  , and

  MS Office / ERP systems

  .
• Strong

  skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):
