Production & Warehouse Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

The Production & Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the strategic management and daily oversight of all production and warehouse activities. This includes planning, organizing, and directing the production process while also managing inventory, logistics, and all warehouse functions. The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive efficiency, maintain quality standards, and foster a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Process Oversight:

  Supervise and coordinate all production activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and on time.

• Quality Control:

  Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure all finished products meet company specifications.

• Efficiency:

  Analyze production processes and implement improvements to maximize output and reduce waste.

• Resource Planning:

  Manage production schedules, labor requirements, and raw material inventory to meet production goals.

Warehouse Management

• Operations:

  Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.

• Logistics:

  Coordinate with suppliers and freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and dispatch of finished goods.

• Inventory Control:

  Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and a robust WMS (Warehouse Management System).

• Layout:

  Optimize the warehouse layout and storage systems to improve efficiency and space utilization.

Leadership & Safety

• Team Management:

  Lead, mentor, and train a diverse team of production and warehouse staff.

• Performance:

  Set clear performance targets for the team and conduct regular evaluations.

• Safety:

  Enforce strict health and safety protocols across both production and warehouse facilities to create a safe working environment.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with the Sales, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  10-15 years of experience in a combined production and warehouse management role. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.

• Skills:

  Strong knowledge of production processes, inventory management systems (WMS), and supply chain logistics. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Education:

  A Bachelors degree in Production Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
