Job Purpose The Regional Head is responsible for overseeing the sales, distribution, and strategic development of the Pegasus Children books segment within an assigned region. This role involves team management, client relationship building, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets, while maintaining strong relationships with Distributors, Wholesalers, School exhibitors ,bookstores, and corporate clients. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with organizational goals for Pegasus Monitor market trends, competition, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities. 2. Sales & Revenue Growth Drive sales performance across the region to meet or exceed revenue targets. Manage key accounts and foster long-term client relationships. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports. 3. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and manage a team of area sales managers, executives, and support staff. Set performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations. 4. Distribution & Operations Oversee the logistics and timely delivery of stocks to end customers. 5. Client & Sakeholder Management Engage with Distributors, Wholesalers, School exhibitors, bookstores, government bodies, and corporates. Represent the company at regional events, trade fairs, and conferences. 6. Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and contract terms. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on KPIs and regional performance. Key Requirements Education : MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred. Experience : 10- 15 years of experience in sales or distribution, preferably in the Children books, school text books or educational content industry. At least 3 years in a managerial or regional leadership role. Skills : Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of the publishing/distribution ecosystem. Data-driven decision making and analytical proficiency. Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools. Requirements: Proven experience managing Amazon.com. Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central operations, including listing creation, inventory management, and advertising tools. Familiarity with third-party tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Amazons SEO principles and keyword research techniques. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize strategies effectively.
