Job Description

Responsible for ensuring all fabricated equipment and components meet technical specifications, codes (ASME, IS, API), and customer standards. Oversees inspection, testing, and documentation from raw material stage to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform stage-wise inspections: fit-up, welding, NDT, hydrotest, final visual
Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications
Coordinate with Third Party Inspectors (TPI) and clients
Maintain quality documents: inspection reports, MTCs, DPT/MPT/UT reports
Ensure traceability and conformance to project specifications
Monitor and report NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and assist in CAPA

Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, IS 2825, API 650
Experience with NDT methods (DPT, MPT, UT)
Familiarity with fabrication drawings and ITP
Eye for detail, documentation accuracy, client interaction
