Quality Control Analyst

As a Quality Control (QC) Analyst, your primary role involves ensuring that products and processes meet established standards and specifications. You will be responsible for conducting tests, analyzing data, and documenting findings to verify quality, identify defects, and recommend improvements. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be crucial in performing the following key responsibilities: - Conducting Quality Checks: Performing various tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. - Data Analysis: Analyzing test results, comparing them to established criteria, and identifying trends or anomalies. - Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of testing procedures, results, and any deviations from established standards. - Problem Solving: Investigating and addressing issues or defects identified during the quality control process and recommending corrective actions. - Collaboration: Working with other teams such as manufacturing and engineering to enhance processes and maintain quality throughout the production lifecycle. - Maintaining Equipment: Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and testing instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results. - Process Improvement: Contributing to the development and implementation of new or improved quality control procedures and protocols. In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned above, a QC Analyst in a pharmaceutical company might be responsible for conducting stability tests on drug formulations, analyzing the results, and documenting any deviations from established stability specifications to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the drug for patient use.
