Quality Assurance

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing. Collaboration with development teams to understand requirements and identify test cases to ensure software quality is a key part of your role. You will also conduct functional and regression testing, as well as perform detailed analysis of software defects, identify root causes, and clearly document issues. Utilizing test management tools like Jira and Zephyr to track test execution and defects will be essential. In addition to manual testing, you will be developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Continuous improvement processes will be a focus, where you will provide input on ways to enhance testing strategies and processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide feedback on the overall user experience is also part of the job. It is important to stay updated on software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior testers and assist in improving team capabilities and knowledge. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, both manual and automated. Proficiency in test management tools like Jira and TestRail, expertise in writing and executing test cases and scripts, and strong experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar are necessary. Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for developing automation scripts is also required. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and defect tracking is crucial. Experience with Life Asia or Life Insurance is a must-have for this role.,
