Quality Assurance Tester

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual) to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing based on software requirements.
• Document and prioritize defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and clarify use cases.
• Report test results and provide status updates to stakeholders throughout the testing process.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues to provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Participate in design and requirement reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects.
• Maintain and update test documentation including test cases, test plans, and test matrices.
• Utilize test management tools such as TestRail or similar for test case management and reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira for defect management and tracking.
• Familiarity with TestRail or similar test management tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
