Quality Assurance Tester

Knowledge, skills & experience required:
Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemicalengineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and aboveMin 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:o Well construction drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics,performance monitoringo Well completions completion designs, well performance analysis,Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke,Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional)Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)Comfortable with Agile methodologiesExcellent Communication SkillsJob Role Responsibilities:Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.Provide an objective assessment of Product QualityContribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product storiesDevelop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance CriteriaWrite comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionalityContribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the storysizingWork with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User WorkflowsDefine, create and maintain Test environmentsValidate Functionality according to Requirements/StoriesVerify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of FunctionalityIdentify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashionTrack Bugs through resolution and implementationVerify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition
