Responsibilities

Review and analyse software and system specifications to understand project requirements
Develop test plans, cases, and strategies tailored to project needs
Execute manual and automated tests to identify software issues and ensure quality
Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies
Run debugging programs and work with developers to resolve issues
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bug reports and testing documentation
Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product teams to improve quality
Evaluate testing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency and innovation
Ensure that quality standards and best practices are consistently applied throughout the SDLC
Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving client-reported issues
Participate in client interactions to understand software requirements and provide feedback
Requirements

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar software quality assurance role

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and techniques

Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)

Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products
