Quality Assurance Test Lead

As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in overseeing QA activities for a major product or multiple projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the execution of various testing types (functional, regression, performance, security, integration) across multiple projects while being hands-on in testing. - Defining defect management workflows and standards in JIRA, analyzing defect trends, and ensuring high-quality defect reporting and resolution. - Performing hands-on test automation using tools like Playwright/Selenium, creating automation frameworks, and emphasizing the importance of test automation and CI/CD adoption. - Leading and managing multiple QA teams, mentoring other leads and senior QAs, and contributing to cross-functional strategic planning and decision-making. Additionally, you will be involved in: - Representing QA in project and release planning meetings, facilitating communication between QA teams and other departments, and presenting quality metrics to senior management and stakeholders. - Driving initiatives for continuous improvement in testing processes and tools, championing Agile quality practices, and implementing new QA methodologies and best practices. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in Software Applications/Products testing. - 5+ years of test automation experience using Selenium/Playwright or other tools.
