Quality Assurance Specialist

As a QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, documenting, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for both web and mobile applications. Your role will involve performing manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues. Collaborating with cross-functional teams will be essential to clarify requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the testability of new features and enhancements. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, PHPUnit, and JMeter. Conducting regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) will be part of your daily tasks. Tracking, documenting, and reporting defects using bug tracking tools like Jira and Azure DevOps is crucial to ensuring the quality of the products. Participating in code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices are key aspects of the role. You will work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements throughout the development lifecycle. To succeed in this role, you must have proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role with a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience in manual testing, test case management, and hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, PHPUnit, and Postman are necessary. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Azure DevOps is also required. An understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products are qualities that will help you excel in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience testing applications deployed on cloud platforms like Azure, knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and an understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. It is also important to stay up-to-date with emerging QA methodologies, tools, and technologies.,
