Quality Assurance Manager

Technical Skill:

• Qualified with ASNT or EN ISO 9712 LEVEL 2 – RT, MT, PT, VT.
• Good Knowledge on NDE practices followed in Steel Foundry
• Radiation safety

Job Responsibility:

• Responsible for Overall NDE (RT, MT, PT, VT) operation of the organization
• Responsible to review the Order, ensure the availability of sufficient resources, Monthly/Daily work schedule for NDE operation
• Review the customer specification and international codes and standard, preparation of RT shooting sketch for the New and Existing products.
• Review and provide the Guidance to prepare the RT quotation for new products and enquiries related to NDE which is in line with the customer specification.
• Planning and execution of Continuous Training and development of the NDE operators / Technicians and responsible to ensure the personal qualification for NDE Technicians.
• Review the NDE procedures according to the latest code and standards including customer specification.
• Reduce the Re Repair percentage by proper monitoring in welding
• Responsible to do the Periodic check for NDE Raw material verification – to ensure the incoming material quality level.
• Responsible to provide the corrective action and effectiveness for Customer complaints through process optimization.
• Create the continuous improvement culture such as Kaizen, 5S and productivity across the NDE function.
• Responsible for Technical discussion with Third party/customer related to NDE activities.
• Maintenance and Monitoring of all the NDE equipment’s, sources and work premises to meet safety and security requirements.
• Responsible to improve the Documentation system whenever is required.
• To perform all tasks as & when assigned / instructed by the Head.

Experience :

• 10 Years experience in the NDE/QA function – Steel castings Foundry Knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
