Quality Assurance

As a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Krescent IT Labs, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications through manual and automated testing. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - **Manual Testing**: - Develop and execute test plans and cases based on project requirements. - Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers for resolutions. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. - Work with product managers and developers to ensure full test coverage. - Conduct exploratory testing to identify uncovered issues. - Provide clear test reports highlighting risks and areas for improvement. - **Automation Testing**: - Design and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc. - Integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing. - Maintain and update test scripts as the application evolves. - Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and efficiency. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated tests. In addition to the above responsibilities, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Proven experience in manual and automation testing. - Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.). - Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and tools. - Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. As for the education and experience requirements, you should have: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
