Quality Assurance Executive

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with 1–3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test automation strategies for web applications built on the Yii2 PHP framework. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure robust performance and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive

coverage of software functionality.

● Perform various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, and

user acceptance testing.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product

managers, and quality assurance to identify issues and drive resolutions.

● Document and report defects, providing clear and detailed information for

developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

● Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies.

● Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to improving software quality

standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

● Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive

test plans and cases.

● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium

WebDriver, Postman, or Katalon Studio.

● Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI testing on web applications.

● Perform API testing and validate backend logic with tools like Postman.

● Conduct performance/load testing using Apache JMeter, analyze results, and report

bottlenecks.

● Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness testing.

● Log and track bugs in tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, and work closely with the

development team for resolution.

● Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.

● Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

● 2–3 years of experience in QA automation testing for web applications.

● Hands-on experience with Web-based applications

● Strong knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Jmeter, Katalon, etc.).

● Experience in API testing and validation.

● Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking tools.

● Basic knowledge of Mysql

● Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

● Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,840.10 - ₹40,484.09 per month
