Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer at Avives, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, and Embedded Software Engineers, Operations, and QA/RA teams, to oversee product performance and document the verification process. Your responsibilities will also include working with contract manufacturers to implement and support production test fixtures. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation and enhancement of test automation to improve efficiency in software verification activities and enhance the features and functionality of products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and support automated test fixtures for PCBA level and Finished Good testing. - Create dashboards and tools to analyze production test data and quality metrics. - Maintain documentation for production test fixtures. - Support validation testing for manufacturing changes. - Investigate root causes of failures and returns and drive corrective actions. - Create and maintain tools and fixtures for automating embedded software verification testing. - Develop processes for creating test articles required for software verification activities. - Provide verification and validation testing support for new product hardware, processes, and packaging. - Assist in Quality and Regulatory testing for FDA submissions under ISO 60601 standards. - Evaluate design elements to determine optimal solutions. - Assess new tools, parts, and integrated solutions for product development and testing. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Engineering preferred (advanced degree a plus). - 3+ years of experience in medical device product design and manufacturing. - Proficiency in Python, C, C++, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages. - Strong experience in working with test instrumentation such as Analog/Digital Data Acquisition, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzers, etc. - Experience in document control and Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a regulated environment is a bonus. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills. - Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, including strong statistical analysis abilities. - Effective communication skills, team player, process-oriented, and detail-oriented. - Experience in interacting with users, technical teams, and management for product information collection, issue investigation, and risk assessments.,
