Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UX Designers to understand requirements and deliver quality software.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UI testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
• Verify fixes and conduct retesting of resolved issues.
• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and maintain test documentation.

Work Experience

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• 3\u20135 years of experience in manual testing of web-based SaaS applications (HR Tech experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Ability to quickly grasp domain knowledge and product workflows.
• Exposure to REST APIs and basic API testing using tools like Postman is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in AI/ML product teams.
• Understanding of HRMS, ATS, or payroll systems.
• Knowledge of basic SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with automation tools (like Selenium or Cypress) is a bonus.
