Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Computronics, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our products by reviewing system requirements, executing test plans, creating automation scripts, and troubleshooting issues. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing system requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide accurate analysis for product improvement. - Planning and executing test plans and cases, generating reports on results, and delivering them to relevant departments. - Collaborating with other Quality Assurance Engineers to test and develop site capability and functionality, maintaining high quality throughout production. - Evaluating product code, creating automation scripts, and documenting testing phases by identifying and recording defects and issues. - Assisting in troubleshooting issues during testing, offering recommendations and implementations, and participating in the retesting process post issue resolution. - Establishing Quality Assurance Engineer strategy and best practices, testing and reporting on current client offerings, and working with product managers and developers to improve system requirements. - Managing quality assurance parameters, maintaining statistical process controls, and staying current with industry trends in testing strategies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - Solid understanding of project management, QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Ability to create comprehensive test plans, define testing strategies, locate and solve bugs, and work with automated testing tools. - Knowledge of performance-based and security-based testing, programming languages like Java, Python, and Ruby, SQL, Agile frameworks, and experience in software development. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, a passion for technology, and experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments.
