Responsibilities: - Review system requirements, specifications, technical design documents, and more to provide accurate analysis for product improvement. - Plan and execute test plans and cases, generate appropriate reports on results, and share them with relevant departments. - Make recommendations and execution plans based on findings from the reports. - Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Engineers for testing and development of site capability and functionality to ensure high quality during production. - Evaluate product code and develop automation scripts when necessary. - Document testing phases effectively, identifying and recording defects, bugs, errors, and other related issues. - Assist the team in troubleshooting issues that may arise during the testing phase by offering recommendations and implementations. - Participate in the retesting process once bugs and issues have been resolved according to plan. - Establish Quality Assurance Engineer strategy and best practices. - Test and report on current client offerings, ensuring they meet high standards and suggesting improvements when needed. - Work with product managers and developers to identify and improve system requirements, supporting the team in implementing necessary changes. - Manage quality assurance parameters, maintain statistical process controls, analyze associated data, and provide technical support as required. - Stay updated with industry trends in testing strategies. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - Strong understanding of project management, QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases, define testing strategies, and troubleshoot difficult bugs and errors. - Experience in black and white-box testing, automated testing tools like qTest and Zephyr, and technical skills related to troubleshooting. - Knowledge of performance-based and security-based testing. - Proficiency in Java, Python, Ruby, and other object-oriented programming languages. - Solid understanding of SQL, databases, Agile frameworks, and experience in software development. - Familiarity with working in Agile and/or Scrum methodologies during the development process. - Programming experience in a Linux/Unix environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving ability, a passion for enhancing user experience, and a keen interest in technology.
