Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop & Implement:
Create Quality Assurance/ Control (QA/QC) plans, Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists.

Material Control:
Inspect and test incoming materials (aggregates, cement, steel) for compliance with project specs.

Site Inspections:
Monitor all site activities, ensuring workmanship and processes meet approved standards and codes.

Testing:
Oversee various tests (sieve analysis, concrete slump, strength tests, etc.) and witness critical tests.

Documentation:
Maintain and manage all QA/QC records, including test results, certificates, inspection requests, and NCRs.

Non-Conformance:
Raise NCRs for defects, track their closure, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Co-ordination:
Liaise with consultants, site teams, and contractors on quality issues and audits.

Reporting:
Prepare performance reports and ensure compliance with regulations.

Approve checklists before starting work.
Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
Manage calibration of testing equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience minimum 3 years in Water Supply Project and 5 years in Construction Projects with Industry Quality Standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
Diploma holder in relevant field (e.g., Civil, Mechanical). Civil Preferred.
Strong understanding of QC inspection techniques including material control procedures.

Strong knowledge of construction materials and testing methods.
Proficiency in preparing MS documents and conducting reviews process.
