Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring that products being built and processes being used adhere to all standards and requirements. Your main focus will be on quality and mechanical testing, with an emphasis on using Universal Testing Machines (UTM) and preparing samples, setting up test rigs, performing tests, and compiling reports. You must have a good understanding of mechanical test specifications such as Auto Industry standard LV214 and other relevant standards. Experience in dust/water tightness testing, cross-sectioning, and microscopic analysis of metals/plastics will be advantageous. Networking with internal and external customers to understand test requirements, continuous improvement, and the ability to create and sustain best practices are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Perform quality and mechanical testing using Universal Testing Machines - Prepare samples, set up test rigs, and compile test reports - Understand mechanical test specifications and standards - Conduct dust/water tightness testing, cross-sectioning, and microscopic analysis - Network with internal and external customers to understand test requirements - Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices - Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills - Show learning agility and a passion for exploring new opportunities Qualifications Required: - 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in quality/mechanical testing - Proficiency in operating Universal Testing Machines (UTM) - Knowledge of mechanical test specifications and standards - Experience in dust/water tightness testing, cross-sectioning, and microscopic analysis of metals/plastics is a plus Additional Company Details: The company values Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, and Teamwork.
