Quality Analyst

As a Manual Tester at our company located in Mohali, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software applications. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the development team to analyze requirements, create detailed test cases, execute manual tests for web, mobile, and desktop applications, and identify and track bugs using a bug-tracking tool. By performing regression, smoke, and functional testing, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will also validate fixes, prepare test reports and summaries for stakeholders, and assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation such as test plans and test scripts. Your strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes will be essential, along with your ability to adhere to QA standards and best practices. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have proven experience as a Manual Tester. Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools, such as JIRA and GitHub, as well as a basic understanding of SDLC and STLC will be beneficial. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication will be key assets in this role. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, basic understanding of SQL for database testing, and exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium.
