Quality Analyst I

As an experienced Automation Test Lead within Corporate Investment Banking, you will be a key player in the development of test automation services essential for expediting change program delivery. Collaborating with project managers, technology teams, and testing teams, you will contribute to defining, designing, and implementing test automation solutions. Your role will involve joining a dynamic Quality Assurance team where you will leverage your testing expertise and innovative thinking to automate test capabilities, devise test procedures, and utilize existing test frameworks to address specific challenges. Emphasizing a collaborative quality approach, you will engage with seasoned developers, managers, and business partners across the organization, receiving guidance, mentorship, and ongoing feedback to enhance your technical and professional skills. Your responsibilities will include executing inventive software solutions, engaging in design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on unconventional approaches to problem-solving. You will be responsible for automating and maintaining In-Sprint and regression test suites using Java, Cucumber, Selenium framework, API, Java, Rest Assured. Identifying opportunities to automate remediation processes for recurring issues, you will contribute to enhancing the operational stability of software applications and systems. Working closely with subject matter experts and technical leads, you will define and implement testing strategies, enhance existing test packs, and design tools/utilities to automate QA processes, app development, and maintenance. Additionally, you will produce testing estimates, provide status reports to stakeholders, and evolve UAT test automation into Front-End automation frameworks. To excel in this role, you are required to possess a B.Tech/B.E degree or equivalent experience, formal training or certification in software automation testing concepts, and a minimum of 5 years of applied experience. You should demonstrate hands-on experience in QA software deliverables, automated testing of APIs and UI using tools like RestAssured, Selenium, and Postman, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Python, and familiarity with automation and continuous delivery methods. A strong understanding of agile methodologies, knowledge of SDLC, and proficiency in tools like Gradle, Maven, Git, JIRA, Confluence, qTest, and JMeter/Load Runner are essential. Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels are also necessary. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in automation and functional testing across diverse business domains, the ability to independently design, develop, test, and deliver Test Automation Solutions using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, and familiarity with tools like Python, Alteryx, Tableau, and databases such as Oracle and MongoDB.
