Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Manual Software Tester with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing practices , with exposure to testing enterprise applications in the Oil Gas industry . This role requires keen attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to understand and test complex business processes. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases Execute manual/ automated test cases to validate software functionality, reliability, and usability Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure timely and effective testing Provide feedback on usability and software quality Maintain and update test documentation as needed Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies Who You Are: You quickly and decisively act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 3+ years of manual testing experience Broad knowledge of industry best practices with Software Quality Experience with manual and automated QA testing and test script development Familiarity with test security practices Knowledge of the Windows operating system Experience with Agile and Scrum Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent. A relevant master s degree is a plus. Demonstrate team spirit when working in teams. Experience with Agile software development (particularly Scrum). Knowledge of best practices for agile testing on a Scrum team. Experience using a test case management system. Be accurate and deliver quality.
