About The Role As ETL Test Engineer you will be expected to perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading data into target tables, working closely with data engineering functions to ensure a sustainable test approach. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into test cases. Design, build and maintain test plan and cases for ETL and data testing. Conduct data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data. Execute manual and automated tests using Azure Databricks and ADF pipelines. Conduct validations for Power BI semantic Models and reports using PBI tools. Work in an Agile environment using Azure tools. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. 5+ years experience in data engineering testing, ELT testing is a must. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Databricks and data warehousing. Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write efficient queries and optimize performance. Strong understanding of Power BI Semantic models, measures and reports. Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, with experience in automation for Data Testing. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure) and their associated data services. Exposure and knowledge on Linux/Unix platforms. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working in cross-functional teams. Must Have Skills ETL Testing and tools. Python programming. SQL Power BI Azure Databricks and Datafactory.
