QE - Test Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for executing both manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining test cases, plans, and scripts, as well as identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using testing tools. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will work towards resolving identified defects efficiently. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather testing requirements, provide feedback on test results, and ensure that all testing activities align with company policies and standards. Additionally, participating in design and code reviews will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of project objectives and provide valuable early feedback to the teams. To excel in this role, you should have 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, along with familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies. Proficiency in test management software such as JIRA and TestRail is essential, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be crucial in ensuring the quality of the software. Preferred skills for this role include experience with specific testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, ETL, TOSCA, and LoadRunner. Knowledge of version control systems like Git and proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python will be advantageous. Additionally, holding a certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, would be a plus.
