QE - Test Engineer (Analyst)

As a Software Quality Assurance Tester, your primary responsibility will be to execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of software products. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scripts. In the event of identifying software defects, your role will involve documenting and tracking them using testing tools, and collaborating closely with development teams to facilitate their resolution. Additionally, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to comprehend project objectives, gather testing requirements, and provide valuable test feedback. Participation in design and code reviews to grasp functionality and offer early feedback will also be a part of your routine. It is imperative that all your testing activities align with company policies and standards. To excel in this role, you should ideally possess 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. A good understanding of automated testing tools and methodologies, as well as familiarity with AI concepts, will be beneficial. Proficiency in test management software, such as JIRA and TestRail, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, are qualities that will aid you in performing your duties effectively. Furthermore, your communication and team collaboration skills will play a pivotal role in your success within the team. Preferred skills for this role include hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, ETL, TOSCA LoadRunner, among others. Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, will be advantageous. A good grasp of programming languages such as Java and Python will be an added advantage. Possessing a certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, will be viewed positively.
