Responsibilities for QE Release Lead Release Planning and Execution A) Awareness on list of projects for respective releaseB) Have QE, DEV, BSA, RM, PM names available for every project in the respective releaseC) Create QE project checklist for each project having milestones and dates - to gauge progress of every test milestoneD) Awareness on test environment for the respective projects in that specific releaseE) Ensure gating criteria for each test phase is tracked and adhered. If not, then liaise with PM and other stakeholders to ensure QE roadblock is removed G) Ensure respective Project QE POCs must have QE artefacts (test plan, test cases) designed, walkthrough and approved by stakeholders prior to execution commences. QE Release Lead should participate during the walkthrough sessions and support Project QE POC whenever required, in the sessionH) During blockers/impediments for any projects, liaise with respective project PMs to share mitigation plan for smooth testing process/execution. I) Schedule daily touch points with Project QE POCs to gauge the progressJ) Ensure respective Project QE POCs must have the SIT Test exit reports prepared, walkthrough and approved by stakeholdersK) Making sure all QE artefacts (Test Case, Test Plan, Test Exit Reports) are maintained in repository with proper approvals in place QE Release Reporting and Governance A) Actively participate in daily project meetings, weekly status meetings along with QE POCs to share updates on respective projects in the releaseB) Actively participate in critical defect triage meetings to support respective Project QE Team for closureC) Publish QE Release Weekly Status Report highlighting the progress and status for each project in the respective releaseD) Accountable and voice of QE in the respective releaseE) Actively involved along with Project QE POCs during implementation and warranty support period from QE perspective
