Job Title: QE / Automation Engineer Playwright

Location: Kochi

Experience: 5–8 Years

We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineering (QE) / Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright and TypeScript to join our team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance web, API, and mobile automation tools and frameworks

Analyze integrations with vendor partners to ensure application compatibility in test and production environments

Identify improvement areas to optimize build, deployment, and testing across multiple environments

Perform advanced peer code reviews with a focus on code quality and reduction of operational debt

Translate business requirements into automated test cases

Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

Support test execution, defect analysis, and troubleshooting across environments

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD best practices

Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks for web, API, and mobile

Hands-on experience with Playwright (mandatory)

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

Excellent analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills

Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams

Technical Skills:

Automation Testing using TypeScript / JavaScript

Experience with Node.js (preferred)

Hands-on experience with JS testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Detox, Jasmine, Jest

Understanding of algorithms, data structures, OOP concepts, and complexity theory

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Cloud & Tools (Good to Have)

Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS

AWS certifications are a plus
