Title: SAP FI-AP Lead Consultant Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP FI-AP Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) processes within the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module. This role will drive AP solution design, lead client workshops, and guide project teams to deliver best-in-class SAP AP implementations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, hands-on SAP configuration knowledge, and a strategic mindset around finance operations. Key Responsibilities:Act as the functional lead for SAP FI-AP, responsible for solution design, configuration, and delivery.Lead client-facing workshops, discussions, and design sessions related to Accounts Payable processes.Assess current AP processes and bring industry best practices and SAP standard solutions to improve efficiency and compliance.Define and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, Procurement, Treasury, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and solution integrity.Support data migration, testing, cutover planning, and go-live activities related to AP.Mentor junior consultants and guide the team through implementation and post-go-live support phases.Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing expert guidance and advisory.Requirements:8+ years of experience in SAP FI, with a focus on Accounts Payable.At least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations or rollouts as an FI-AP Lead.Deep understanding of AP processes including vendor management, invoice processing, payment processing, taxation, withholding, and integration with procurement (MM).Proven ability to lead workshops, define business processes, and influence decision-making.Familiarity with S/4HANA is a strong plus.Strong documentation and presentation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
