Responsibilities

Quality Control (QC)

• Conduct chemical, microbiological, and biological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and specifications for biological formulations.
• Perform stability testing and prepare detailed reports on product shelf-life and efficacy.
• Maintain documentation and lab records as per regulatory and internal compliance guidelines.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Investigate non-conformities and deviations in quality and implement corrective actions.
  

Research & Development (R&D)

• Assist in formulating new biological products and improving existing formulations.
• Conduct experiments and trials to test the efficiency and performance of bio-based agrochemicals and biological seed treatments.
• Collaborate with the regulatory team to ensure compliance with FAO, BIS, and other industry standards.
• Develop test methods and analytical procedures for biological products.
• Participate in process optimization to improve production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with national and international regulatory guidelines for biological formulations.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, SOPs, and validation documents.
• Work closely with the production and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product commercialization.
  

Education

Key Qualifications

• M.Sc. / B.Tech in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
  

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control (QC) or R&D in biological or agrochemical industries.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of biological testing, microbial cultures, fermentation processes, and enzyme assays.
• Proficiency in analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, Spectrophotometry, and PCR.
• Understanding of ISO, GLP, and GMP guidelines for quality assurance.
