Job Description

Objective

To lead and manage the Quality Control Department by ensuring accurate and timely testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines, and driving continual improvement in QC processes.

Key Responsibilities:-

* Oversee day-to-day operations of the QC lab, including sampling, testing, and reporting.

* Ensure testing of RM, PM, WIP, and FG is carried out as per SOPs and BIS/ISO standards.

* Review and approve COAs (Certificate of Analysis) before product dispatch.

* Ensure strict adherence to ISO, GMP, and regulatory requirements.

* Maintain proper documentation as per audit and regulatory standards (NABL, FDA, etc.).

* Lead and prepare QC for internal and external audits.

* Supervise and guide QC Chemists, Analysts, and other lab personnel.

* Conduct training sessions on SOPs, safety, and quality systems.

* Ensure availability, calibration, and maintenance of analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, etc.).

* Interpret analytical data from GC-MS and ICP-MS instruments to ensure product quality and compliance.

* Maintain GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) across all testing activities.

* Investigate quality issues or customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.

* Collaborate with Production, QA, and R&D teams for quality improvements.

* Manage lab consumables and reagents inventory.

* Plan manpower and resource requirements efficiently.

Technical Skills:-

* Hands-on with GC, HPLC, FTIR UV, GC-MS, ICP-MS

* Knowledge of BIS/ISO/GMP regulations

* Statistical Quality Control (SQC)

* Root Cause Analysis, CAPA management

* SAP / ERP system usage (preferred)

Working Days : Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday Off) | 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
